Hunger Games are comiiiing!

Even though I haven't told you yet I am a HUGE fan of The Hunger Games.
I have started reading Catching fire for the second time =)
And as you may know Catching Fire has a premiere on the 22nd of November.

Autumn holiday

Finally a little break after two whole months.

The fact is we do not celebrate Halloween. Instead, each year on the 1st of November all family members go to cemetery and visit our grandpas' and other deceased family members' graves.

Never trust a pretty girl with an ugly secret.
What an amazing sentence to start a story. Really powerful story. The idea of it is just great. But the way he book is written was frustrating. As thought it was meant for six-years-old kids. I've read just the first one, I'd rather watch the series, which are cool.
The second thing that has disappointed me is the fact, that in this first book there is so small part of the whole story. There is not much that happened, if you understand me.

I know, everybody says this is one of the best books ever. I must disagree.
The whole time of reading this story I was waiting for something, that did not happen.
I find this book really boring. A book that is only about protagonist's moods. All the time, he was negative, he was fed up with everything. In the few last pages I was hoping that the last sentence will make the book worth reading. Didn't happen.
So, the summary of the book is - there is no story in it.

Stars Dance

At this moment I'm listening to Selena's latest album Stars Dance, which I think is quite fine. Well, her style has changed a lot through last 4 years. I think I liked Selena in first seasons of Wizards of Waverly Place, but I think that it is okay, because she is much more famous now.

So this is what I think:

1. Birthday - I didn't think this song is in the album. I just thought it is just for fun, because it is not a song of a big quality in my opinion. But okay.

2. Slow Down - I love this song. Not my style, but it is perfect and I enjoy it really =)

3. Stars Dance - The same again and again... Don't like it that much.Selena's albums are named by the songs that I mostly don't like that much, but it is okay, cuz it fits the genre of her songs in the album.

4. Like a Champion - The song you can't remember how it sounds. Why? Because it is not special and original.

5. Come & Get It - In fact, I think lyrics is a bullshit, but I also have to admit I like this song.

6. Forget Forever - I like this song. It has a small grading and it is original (I mean in comparison with others of her songs).

7. Save The Day - The song is fine and I think I will like it. =)

8. B.E.A.T. - Well, I cannot decided whether I like it or not... =D

9. Write Your Name - The same again and again. But slowly.

10. Undercover - A normal song.

Anna Fitzgerald looks to earn medical emancipation from her parents who until now have relied on their
youngest child to help their leukemia-stricken daughter Kate remain alive.

I've already seen this movie when I was maybe ten or eleven, but I didn't catch the point then. But yesterday it was different. At first I have to admit that I love Abigail Breslin - she looks so smart in every movie she plays.
Then there is a role played by Cameron Diaz - Sara (Diaz) was an extremely stubborn person and at first I hated her, but then I realized she was a person who really loved her sick daughter. But I have to say I think she was a negative person in a movie - Anne (Breslin) meant for her just spare parts and her Sara's son? No one noticed him, poor boy.
I write negative now, it's not about the movie, but about Sara (Diaz).
In fact this is one of the best movies of this genre I've seen recently. Reviews don't lie. Breslin showed her best face and played her best and you can see it. My sister's keeper is a very good movie and there is also a very beautiful lovestory (and very short) and it all is very touching and I recommend it to you so =)

P.S. - We could again predict an 'American End' but in a smaller amount.

The idea of this book kind of surprised me and I was glad that the girl is special at last. Not the boy as in the most of the books I've read of this genre (Twilight, Hush Hush).
Xavier if my ideal boy and I realized after reading it. But it made me happy a bit. And again, it was a little different from, for example Hush Hush where Patch was rather bad than a good boy.
I can't say anything bad about the final shape of a story and after reading Hush Hush I was glad this was not a book you have to read in one day.
I like descriptions of Beth's moods and her world. Ivy was a perfect older sister (like mine) and Gabriel was a strong angel, which was quite sexy =D
And I think reading even the hardest times of the story was quite pleasant - it was a good fairytale =)

Psychology

Well, it turned out our Biology isn't Biology anymore, but Psychology. We were talking about men. About sex. About their relationship with father. About their feelings. About their fears. And it was really interesting =)
Our teacher's plan was to talk about men 1 hour and another one talk about women. But we started and finished on the same subject and it looks like we won't talk about women this year. It disappointes me, as I like to hear more about us.
Our Biology/Psychology teacher told us she thinks men and women are incompatible. This is an interesting opinion as she is getting married next month. I just wish her luck, because she is a beautiful and clever woman.

P.S. - Like the idea of Psychology lesson once a week, but I know it will never happen... =/)

At first I thought I would like to read the book first, but then I wanted to watch something with my mum and she didn't really fancy the idea of watching Ruby Sparks, so I had a mission to choose something suitable for my mother. So after a long time I have first thought of watching this movie I turned it on...
...And it touched me and you have to see it to know why. In fact, this part of American history has nothing to do with me, but it was interesting to see this rendition. Emma Stone is a person, that you look at and see she has a character. It is an interesting person in this movie and every person in this movie has an acting talent and this is amazing.
Of course, there are cons, too. For example the American kind of telling stories. Something important is unsaid and some things are exaggerated. But I was surprised that in this movie I liked the happyend. Because most of the movies people watch are American and you have to get used to their kind of movies or their stupid happyendings...

Rollerskating 1/6/2013

Second report =D

I went rollerskating with my dad and mum. It was funny, because my mom was standing on rollerskates for the first time this year. And we were in Jelešňa again. It is an asphalt road in the forest. So I told my mum to go faster, bu she said I the car passes, she will fall. I said no car is going. And she sped up and then I heard my dad shouting "Car!" and my mom could hear it and she panicked and fell. I love this situations.

Sprint competition on Tuesday

The second part of a athletic competition of primary and secondary schools started the on Tuesday. I wanted to write about it before I left for bus to Nižná (village). I ran 300m sprint and relay race 4*60m.
I still don't know how I ended up in 300m sprint, but I was probably 2nd or 3rd of 14 girls running.
I just have to ask my PE teacher.
Looking forward for another running year =)

High jump - results

I am SO HAPPY. I have jumped 1,30m in the high jump competition.
There were about 10 girls in my category and I was SECOND!!!
Last year I have started in this competition and I've jumped 1,20, so I am really happy, as I haven't jumped so much, maybe on 3 athletic lesson... =)

At 9:10 I am going to bus stop, because in the nearest town we have a high jump competition.
I am nervous. I was there last year with my friend, today we are going together, too.

Running and Rollerskating 26/5/2013

Okey, my first report (I really do not know how to call it). I went first rollerskating and then jogging to "Jelešňa". I like this place, because it is quiet and there is a good asphalt road and a few people (in the best case no one). But, from my house I can get there only by car, so I don't go there often. But when I do, I really enjoy it there =)
It's not like I haven't been jogging till now, I just really want to be fit and I want you to oversee me, so I cannot be lazy.
